The Institute for Law and Technology (ILT) provides a premier national and global forum on intellectual property and technology-related legal issues of policy and practice affecting counsel and companies in the digital age.

ILT is a membership-based educational institution offering a variety of educational programs and activities for its members and for the public. Its membership is available to corporations, law firms, attorneys, professors, and other interested individuals and organizations.

When you become a member, you are invited to join the Institute for Law and Technology's Advisory Board and help shape the future programs of the Institute as it relates to intellectual property and technology-connected law.

  LATEST ILT NEWS

The 49th Annual Intellectual Property Law Conference took place on November 7-8, 2011, at the Center for American and International Law in Plano, Texas, USA. Here is the program schedule.

China IP: Now, was held on October 11, 2011, at SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas. It focused on the most recent developments in China's intellectual property law. Chinese judges, policymakers, attorneys, and academics with expertise in Chinese IP law shared their experience and insights. Go here for details. The ILT Luncheon (Technology A to Z Series): "Standard Setting Organizations (SSOs) and Patents - Current Issues" was held on June 17, 2011, at Karcher Auditorium, SMU Dedman School of Law, Dallas, TX USA. Game::Business::Law Summit 2011
- Lawyers in the video game industry joined video game company executives and venture capital investors for the third annual Game-Business-Law summit on January 26-27, 2011, at SMU Dedman Law School. The event attracted more than 100 participants. Here is the program schedule.
